The Ethnic Minority Environmental Network (EMEN) and CEMVO Scotland are offering to help more people to be digitally included and have access to digital platforms. We will be running free online training workshops on various digital platforms over the coming months. To register for the workshops, you will need to be a member of EMEN or alternatively be an EM group that deliver an environmental project. To become a member of EMEN please contact Zarina Ahmad for an application form email@example.com
We are also offering up to 50% towards subscription costs for a limited number of groups towards online digital platforms i.e. Zoom, Microsoft Team, WebEx etc. To be eligible to apply, you will need to attend at least two of the workshops. Once you have registered for a workshop, you can apply for 50% contribution to subscription costs for a digital platform by contacting: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that we only have limited resources for a small number of groups that we can support in accessing digital platform subscriptions. Therefore, the decision by a panel from the EMEN and CEMVO Scotland will be final with no scope for appeals.
The panel will base its decision to award some groups with up to 50% contribution towards a digital platform based on the criteria’s below:
· How will subscription to a digital platform help benefit the group in working with its beneficiaries – i.e. what sort of activities will be delivered through online digital platforms and estimated number of beneficiaries?
· How the group will promote its environment related work digitally to external stakeholders and / or engage with policy / decision makers around climate change?
