CEMVO Scotland Achieves EFQM Committed to Excellence Recognition

CEMVO Scotland is proud to announce that we have achieved Committed to Excellence recognition within the EFQM

CEMVO Scotland is proud to announce that we have achieved the ‘Committed to Excellence’ award within the European Framework of Quality Management (EFQM). This achievement reflects our commitment to strive towards excellence and continuous improvement.

We started our journey towards meeting the first stage of the EFQM in 2011. We identified three improvement priorities after completing a self assessment exercise through the charity juggler and produced an action plan for improvement.

Three key areas were identified to help us develop and enhance the services we offer. Our aim was to document, improve and measure our policy and strategy, processes and customer results to help us to embed continuous improvement in all we do and to better meet the needs of our stakeholders.

We engaged with the accreditation body, Quality Scotland throughout the process and after a successful site visit and assessment we achieved Committed to Excellence in April 2012. This recognition is just the start of our excellence journey, and hopefully demonstrates to our staff, board, funders, service users and other stakeholders that we are committed to improving our organisation.

The Committed to Excellence Awards was presented to CEMVO Scotland at the Scottish Awards for Business Excellence 2012 by Quality Scotland.
